How many messages do you send?

I pretty much do it in bursts. Every few months I'll get the crazy notion someone might reply, so I will send out four or five.

And then no one does, so I get depressed, put gibberish in my profile for a couple months before repeating the cycle.

I got one of these again yesterday

I got one of these again yesterday, some guy trying to be helpful saying my pictures were terrible*. Which I tried to delete without reading, but I could see the first line.

This is getting ridiculous, I get 2-3+ of these messages a month, sometimes well meant (just saying I need better pictures), sometimes people just flat out calling me ugly. I just want them to stop already.


*And for the record, these pictures are terrible, but they are also the best I have, it's either use them or have no pictures. I literally have 200 pictures of myself on my digital camera, these are the best.

Just fucking leave me alone already, people, I know I'm ugly, I don't need to constantly get it rubbed into my face. Well-meant or not.

I Know I should be used to it, but shrug, I'm not.

I don't get why women can't understand why it sucks to be lonely. Why is it such a crime to complain about it? Why can't they bear complaints from guys?
If you don't like, gasp, don't read them. (Come to think of it, that also applies to this thread, so I am being a bit hypocritical).

I mean, grow a pair? What exactly do you mean by that? Are men with a lot of testosterone supposed to handle being able to not talk to or date anyone for years, even decades easier than those with none? I think you've got that backward, actually.

And balls or not, do you really think it feels good to be on a site for months, even years (3 1/2 for me) and not have a single person reply? Not have a single person actually want to talk to you? 3 1/2 years. That's like 1/5 of your life. Do you really think you could handle that long without any contact without someone else? Yeah, right.

What's also really funny, is just about every woman on here is liberal to the point of being left of Dan Rather. Yet their ideal man seems to be some sort of super-John Galt, someone who apparently is completely self sufficient and needs no one.
